Bring Questions Tuesday!

Vicenza-ites,

Tuesday at 7 PM you'll see some beautiful images of Italy, receive new good news about a slight price reduction, and be able to air all/any questions about the trip.

After Spring Break, sometime in April we'll have a pre-trip initiation cookout to interact, eat, discuss course projects/syllabus/see examples, and, of course, to bond.

Stay well...

Straightening Irons

Oh and by the way, straightening irons, curling irons, hairdryers and the like will not work properly even with adapters. So if you MUST have one, think about buying it in Italy. Maybe you can all share one--or live free for a few weeks!

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!

Hi Everyone. I have a couple of things:

First, we are ON for Italy! Start booking flights. It is recommended that you arrive in Italy at least one day before the day we check into Vicenza. Check in day (in Vicenza) is Monday, May 7, so you should plan to arrive the morning of the 6th in Italy. Of course, the first night lodging would have to be arranged/paid for by you.

Second, get your passports NOW!

Third, you will want to start thinking about luggage. Ask friends or family if they have external or internal frame backpacks that you can borrow (not essential but very helpful). If not, you may want to purchase one. These can be found at most outdoor/camping stores. You will want to have a salesperson help you find a pack that fits your build.

And last, before we leave, we will need copies of your insurance information, lists of allergies (food, medication, etc.), contacts in the US, passports, and flight information. Just be gathering this information for now, we will collect it from you at a meeting closer to our departure.

It's going to be here before we know it! Yippie.
